It’s been forever!

Wow, I didn’t realize I created this blog and neglected it for months without even posting a thing! If you’re wondering why, I’ve been cozying up on my Tumblr site: CLICK.

So much has happened, you can head on over there and read my blogs. I haven’t been blogging a lot though.  Actually,  I don’t dare call it “blog entries” more like, weird random postings whenever I feel like it. That doesn’t make any sense does it? Oh well. Nothing makes sense anymore anyways!

I will be leaving this blog for now, and will be returning when I am done frolicking around and chasing butterflies!

On books turned movies.

Neil Gaiman is one of the most popularly acclaimed bestselling fiction novelist in the world as of date. He became my favorite author right after I found out that the movie Stardust was based on one of his bestselling novels that goes by the same title. I’ve seen Stardust the movie twice as much as I’ve read the book. But I have to say, this is one if those rare times when BOTH movie and novel adaptations are REALLY good. (With the exception of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series of course!)

Usually when a book-based movie comes out, people just can’t help but compare. Bookstores run out of copies of the book that is the current box office hit, sales skyrocket because of people wanting to know how the story based on the book goes. And/or vice versa.
